Summary: When I booked this hotel it was not entirely clear to me that it was on the airside but I was jetlagged and otherwise tired so easy to blame myself. I followed the airport exit signs and found myself at a Yotel kiosk. The kiosk employee told me I couldn't enter the airside for a few hours and that I would have to transfer my reservation, but would have to pay the difference. I told him I would chance it and ultimately it was not an issue getting back to the airside. My point being that the Yotel person tried to cheat me, which I really did not appreciate. Turkey has a reputation for one having to look out for oneself and this person did not help that perception. The airside hotel and the cabin itself were great, exactly what I needed for my seven hours there. The bathrooms could have been a little cleaner and the room never cooled down but at the end of the day this hotel took care of my needs.
