Set in the exclusive Patara Prince Resort with its beautiful landscaping and ancient architectural style this two storey villa is constructed with local stone, having ceramic tiles to the ground floor, wood flooring upstairs under a terracotta tiled roof and a spacious terrace with panoramic views. Access is available to all of the amenities of the Resort which include:- 3 outdoor swimming pools, including one for adults only, tennis courts, and a water sports centre. There are three restaurants and two bars. The Resort includes a health spa with turkish bath and indoor plunge pool and a gym and beauty salon . As villa guests there is a 25% discount on food and drink purchased in the Patara Prince Resort ( deducted when you settle up at the Hotel reception). For day to day needs there is a well stocked on site supermarket. Kalkan is a small harbour town which now has an increasingly sophisticated character. Summary: We had a lovely time. The villa is at the top of Patara Prince which makes it convenient for the small Tempa supermarket which is a minute away. You can walk into the old town in about 15 minutes which we did most evenings. There are a lot ofsteps at the development so if that would be a challenge then parses Prince is not for you. However the steeply sloping site is what gives everyone a stunning view and the whole development is really green with beautiful trees and planting with flowers everywhere and really V well maintained. The kitchen is perfectly well kitted out with a large fridge and there are two BBQs! we spent most of our days by the waters edge on the swimming platforms but there are swimming pools too if you’d prefer. We didn’t rate the food in the restaurant close to the pools - pretty uninspiring and not cheap for what it was. Though a good spot for a cold drink. We jumped on the shuttle bus at lunchtime and popped back up to the villa for lunch which suited us much better. It’s a five minute walk back down to the sea. Everyone in the resort is charming and helpful with lovely housekeeping staff. There are a lot of cats around but if you ignore/don’t feed them they are no bother at all. We found the lack of wifi in the house was the only negative. We would hope to come again and would highly recommend This villa. I think it would be a bit cosy for six as the third bedroom is pretty tiny (fine for small children) but perfect for two or four guests.
