Summary: The room & bathroom were clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was good. The staff were nice. The hotel was close to Taksim Square and so it was easy to get to and from the airport using the metro which is very accessible and efficient and also easy to connect to the old city using the funicular and metro network. There are shops and restaurants closeby. The only thing I found disturbing was the early morning call to prayer from the mosque in the square which woke me at 4:30AM on my first night, 10 May. I couldn't get back to sleep and after a long journey to get to Turkey, I would have appreciated more rest. I suppose some rooms are quieter than others and I was not disturbed during my second stay on 17 May.
