Summary: Taru Cave Suites made for such a memorable stay. Mr. Mehmet and especially his team have been nothing but kind and gentle, creating a truly welcoming space. The room carried a sense of antiquity — as you’d expect from a refurbished cave suite — but with simple, elegant touches that gave it real class. The bed struck the perfect balance of soft and firm, exactly what was needed after long days trekking the valleys. Breakfasts here were something special. On my second morning I practically leapt out of bed for my honeycomb — thick, dark pine honey with a resinous strength — paired with crisp potato pancakes. I’m not usually a cheese person, but I gave in and was rewarded with an assortment of dips that made the spread feel like a feast. The perfect start to the day.
