Positive: We stayed in a basic but very cozy wooden bungalow at the seaside for one week. The house is spacious (two bedrooms) and has everything you need for a relaxed holiday, including AC in the bedrooms, washing machine and dishwasher. Nearest beach is just across the road from the house. It is possible to buy all the groceries in the city center, but one needs a car or taxi to get there. We visited historic sites in Demre and also took a very enjoyable half-day boat trip from Andriake. There are many nice beaches around.
